Hi my name is Stephanie, I have been a state registered NHS professional for 26 years.
I have had a change in career from being a Scientist to Ear Technician.
I was trained and certified in Leeds in 2022

About my approach
Hi my name is Stephanie; I am a State Registered experienced Health Care Professional with 26 years experience. During this time I have used different techniques and expertise with focused patient care.
Duty of care is most important to me and I hope that my professionalism as an Ear Care Technician demonstrates this.
I visit patients with Multiple Sclerosis at home, Alzheimer's patients and many more including a 100 year old lady. All my clients have said I have a great rapport with them. Visiting patients at home or in a nursing home gives me job satisfaction.
I participate in CPD activities to keep up with my State Registration as a Health Care Professional. I travel within the local area, within a 30 mile radius.

Otoscopy
This is a clinical procedure to look at your ear health, an examination to look at middle ear, tympanic membrane and the external canal
Micro suction
A very gentle procedure to remove ear wax. Removes wax build up and also looks at ear health.
Hearing tests
A safe and reassuring procedure that diagnoses how well you are hearing.

I am now available to come and visit you at home or in a nursing home, so far I have visited patients with complex illnesses e.g Alzheimers, cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, who are on dialysis and who cannot get out of bed, due to my NHS past with having patient orientated care treating patients is a pleasure.
I treat with care and attention and work around my patients with professionalism, compassion and patience.
Many patient families call me on behalf of their loved ones, I have full communication with them before and after treatment. Nothing is a problem.
